Anti-Karaoke: the Return in 2024!

Nearly 20 years after its debut, the legendary ANTI-KARAOKE of Rachel Arieff returns to Barcelona and Madrid!

After a long absence, the USA-born comedian Rachel Arieff has returned with her unique fusion of karaoke, rock concert, underground party and "parade of personalities", which in its almost 20 years of existence has become a classic of Spanish entertainment, in addition to being known — and loved — throughout Europe.

At each Anti-evening, a community of hundreds of people from all over the world gathers to shine on stage (or support from the audience) and create a euphoric show from zero, based on their favorite songs from rock history and its subgenres. The repertoire list is as varied as the audience, including classics like Kiss or Metallica as well as Tom Waits, The Pixies, Hole, Redd Kross, Ghost, or The Flaming Lips. (There are also some Spanish songs by Nino Bravo, Camilo Sesto or Las Grecas — because good music is good music!) Meanwhile, Rachel acts as mistress of ceremonies, providing support to the participants, special numbers and many funny moments.

The audience spans all ages, from 20 to 60 and up. In fact, that is one of the most beautiful characteristics of Anti: that it has never been stuck in a category of age, musical genre, gender/orientation, or culture. The A.K. is one of the most diverse evenings that exists today, uniting all attendants in an friendly, playful and welcoming atmosphere.
